Deep view on NSF to PST conversion

Lotus Notes is one of the most typical emailing clients by IBM. Unlike Outlook, Lotus Notes works with the collaboration of Domino Server. Just like the difference of their emailing server both the emailing clients are completely opposite to one another.

Below are the differences of Lotus Notes and Outlook:

Technical Skills: At the time of any internal error Lotus Notes always requires more technical skills to resolve the issue rather than Outlook. To solve any error of Lotus Notes is impossible for a non technical person as it is very much complicated & difficult to work. When we see Outlook in front of Lotus Notes, it is very much easy to learn and work upon. Even a non technical person can work on this. Outlook is having self explanatory user interface which helps its user to work without any issue.

Complicated Server: Lotus Notes, one of the most complicated emailing applications is compatible with the another most complex Server application called "Domino Server”.  Lotus Notes and Domino both are too hard to learn for beginners. In comparison to Notes and it's Server Outlook with Exchange is easier to use.

Easy to use Functions: Outlook is built with the most advanced features like social integration, notes, journals, meeting scheduler and many more. All the above functions can be implemented with one click in Outlook because of the simple and advanced user interface.

Issues with Domino Server:
At the time of NSF data conversion Domino server goes down for a long period of time which affects the work process and is not acceptable in mid level organizations.

Cost:
Even after all the above critical cases another surprising factor is cost of Lotus Notes. Lotus Notes is very much expensive than Outlook. Apart from the installation cost, its maintenance cost is also very high.

Because of all above stated factors Outlook is more widely preferable emailing application rather than Lotus Notes. Lets discuss features of both emailing platforms for better understanding “Why Outlook is more preferred than Lotus Notes?
